On November 9th, from 12pm to 1.30pm, CIDOB organises a discussion session on the results of the US elections during which Eckart Woertz, research coordinator at CIDOB, will present the collective publication of our research team “US Presidential Election: What Scenarios for the World After Obama?”. The monograph takes stock of Obama’s legacy and analyses the future of the presidency and the foreign policy of the United States in areas such as Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East and issues such as climate change, immigration and trade agreements.
Then, the communications consultant and director of Ideograma, Antoni Gutiérrez-Rubí, will analyse the election results and their implications. A debate with the audience will follow, moderated by CIDOB’s researcher, Paula de Castro.
