CIDOB ranked among the Top Fifty Think Tanks in Western Europe
The “Global Go to Think Tanks Report 2011”, compiled by the University of Pennsylvania’s International Relations Program, has ranked CIDOB, the Barcelona Centre for International Affairs number 33 among the Fifty Leading Think Tanks in Western Europe.

The fifth edition of the annual report, lead by Professor James G. McGann, can be consulted at http://www.gotothinktank.com. As part of the survey process, the Global Go to Think Tanks Report contacted 6.545 think tanks in the world, while producing a ranking that has become the most authoritative list of high performance think tanks in the world.
CIDOB shares its place in the list of Top Fifty Think Tanks in Western Europe with other two other Spanish institutes, FRIDE, with number 30, and Elcano Royal Institute, with number 48 (in the broader Top Fifty Security and International Affairs Think Tanks, Elcano is 49).
