Patrizia Cogo

Patrizia Cogo is an Associate Researcher at CIDOB (Barcelona Centre for International Affairs). Her research focuses on EU foreign policy, India, China and the Global South. She is the founder of India Watch Briefing, a newsletter on Indian foreign policy. In 2024-2025, she was awarded a Junior Visiting Fellowship through CIDOB and the Banco Sabadell Foundation's "Programa Talent Global". She currently works at the European External Action Service (ASIAPAC.6). In her recent professional trajectory, she has worked at the Centre for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy (CSDS, BSoG-VUB), the Elcano Royal Institute, EsadeGeo, and IEMed, among others.

She holds a dual degree in Law and Global Governance from Esade, and a Master's in International Relations, Security and Development from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She is also Co-founder of the youth networks Generation EU-India (GenEI) and European Guanxi.
