CIDOB presents a new edition of the CIDOB International Yearbook, a pioneering and benchmark publication in the study and dissemination of international relations in Spain, which reaches now its 35th edition amid a volatile and unpredictable global context. This year’s edition explores three essential themes that help understand today’s international reality: the new international economic order, the geopolitics of climate change, and the future of war.
As part of the publication’s launch, and with a special focus on one of these issues -the geopolitics of climate change-, Aromar Revi, Vice Chancellor of IIHS University, founding Director of the Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS), and Co-Chair of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), will offer a keynote speech, followed by a dialogue with Pol Morillas, Director of CIDOB.
The dialogue will be preceded by a welcome speech by Josep Borrell, President of CIDOB. Jaume Duch, Minister for European Union and External Action of the Government of Catalonia, will close the event, which will conclude with a cocktail reception.
The conversation with Aromar Revi will be conducted in English with simultaneous translation into Catalan.
