What forces are behind the growing confrontation between powers? How are they affecting geopolitics, global balance, and democratic quality? In this new edition of the "What's going on in the world?” series of conferences, we will debate the great challenges of a world shaken by accelerated changes, geopolitical tensions, historical resentments and profound social transformations.
Through a conversation with Josep Borrell, President of CIDOB; Andrea Rizzi, on the occasion of the publication of his book La era de la revancha; moderated by Elena G. Sevillano, editor of the International section of EL PAÍS; we will analyse and reflect on the dynamics that confront democracies and authoritarianisms, the rise of popular discontent and the implications of this new era in the international balance.
