This one-day public seminar aims to provide information on the main issues being negotiated under TTIP, what it means for firms and consumers in EU member states, particularly in Spain, and how the proposed partnership could possibly reconfigure the matrix of economic governance at the global level. Ultimately, the seminar will aim to respond to the question of whether the TTIP would reinforce or weaken the EU’s position in the global economic governance.
By bringing together researchers studying various economic, legal and political aspects as well as regulatory integration issues, the event will draw on topical issues and employ an interdisciplinary approach. The seminar will divide into a keynote speech, focusing on a global perspective to the TTIP; two panels and conclusions.
