Taming internal fragmentation and external instability in the EU. 7th Spanish-German Dialogue

The 7th edition of the Spanish-German Dialogue, jointly organised by CIDOB and the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) with the support of the Europe for Citizens Programme, will tackle key aspects of the European agenda and the integration and disintegration dynamics, particularly regarding the Spanish-German relations and with the aim to reinforce the cooperation among both countries.

The 7th edition of the Spanish-German Dialogue, jointly organised by CIDOB and the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) with the support of the Europe for Citizens Programme, will tackle key aspects of the European agenda and the integration and disintegration dynamics, particularly regarding the Spanish-German relations and with the aim to reinforce the cooperation among both countries. 

Throughout the seminar, journalists and experts from both countries will analyse the main aspects of the political agenda in Spain and Germany, as well as the risks of disintegration of the European Union, in particular the so-called Grexit and Brexit. The seminar will also analyse the refugee crisis and its causes, tacking the instability in the Union’s borders and the European policies to respond to this crisis.
