European Breakfast with Wolfgang F. Danspeckgruber, Director of the Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination at Princeton University

CIDOB, with the support of the Europe for Citizens programme, organises a European Breakfast-Jaime Arias on October 3 that will count on the participation of Wolfgang F. Danspeckgruber,Director of the Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination at Princeton University. 

Violent and politically unexpected, “unthinkables” or “absurdities” take place wherever imaginable. The need to separate the real from the unreal, the polemic from facts has never been greater. This is work we may not want to do. But when disinformation and deception have become integral parts of daily political discourse, it is work we must do. 

Wolfgang Danspeckgruber is the Founding Director of the Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination at Princeton University, LISD. He is also the founder and chair of the Liechtenstein Colloquium on European and International Affairs, LCM, a private international diplomacy forum. Danspeckgruber researches, teaches and writes on the theory and practice of international diplomacy, private diplomacy, and crisis diplomacy; on the interactions between religion, values, and diplomacy; and on self-determination, security, and stabilization. Regions of interest and involvement, also in private diplomacy, comprise Europe, the wider Middle East, and Central Asia.
