Organized by:

Lebanese American University (LAU), CIDOB and The University of Lleida

From the 25th to 26th of January 2016, the SAHWA Ethnographic Fieldwork and Youth Survey Seminar will take place. It will be held in Beirut (Lebanon) and hosted by the Lebanese American University (LAU). Along with CIDOB (SAHWA Coordinator) and the University of Lleida (as coordinator of the Ethnographic Fieldwork), all SAHWA Partners will participate in this important event.

This 2-day seminar will be mainly devoted to analyse the preliminary results from the Ethnographic Fieldwork (focus groups, narrative interviews, life stories, focused ethnographies, etc.) and the SAHWA Youth Survey (10,000 face-to-face interviews to young Arab in 5 countries) both carried out in Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco and Tunisia.

The Arab Mediterranean partners (HEM, CREAD, CAWTAR, AUC and LAU) will first introduce to the SAHWA Consortium the first qualitative and quantitative results before discussing the implication for the upcoming papers (about fifty scientific papers, policy reports, policy papers and scenario reports).
