This dialogue, organised within the framework of the FACTS Project, will seek to inform European institutions on how citizens are perceiving them and their role.
The FACTS Project aims to identify the existing rumours, narratives and fake news about the European Union that are present among mobilized and non-mobilized citizens. It also aims to clarify if these elements hinder the development of a European citizenship.
After two years of research, this dialogue will explore narratives and attitudes towards the European Union and build on citizen focus groups conducted by leading think tanks across Europe. For this special occasion, the FACTS Project has created the space for citizens and MPs to come to Barcelona and discuss with their peers from Spain, Germany, Italy, Poland, and Greece in a facilitated dialogue.
