Objective

Perestroika and resulting reforms did not suffice to change the deep nature of Russian political culture dominated by an imperialistic mentality, by the dogma of Russia’s exceptionalism and by the compelling idea that Russia only can exist as a superpower. Until this is not changed, the Russian society will not be able to get free from its own demons.
