Santander-CIDOB Future Leaders Forum “Bridging the digital global governance gap: international cooperation and the regulation of emerging technologies”

The fourth edition of this collaboration programme between Banco Santander and CIDOB will analyse, among others, the following questions: How can we ensure international cooperation on digital and technology issues to regulate them effectively? What impacts does geopolitical competition between powers have on the global governance of digital matters? What mechanisms exist for international cooperation to address today’s digital challenges?

On Friday, 17 February 2017, CIDOB (Barcelona Centre for International Affairs), CADS (Advisory Council for the Sustainable Development of Catalonia), IDDRI (Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations) and Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site organise the conference ‘Climate Futures: Financing the Low-carbon Energy Transition’ in order to analyse the investment challenges posed by the transition to a low-carbon energy system
