Accessing adequate housing is becoming increasingly difficult for the bulk of residents of today’s major urban areas. To analyse the different scales through which housing problems and solutions are being articulated, CIDOB is hosting a conversation between David Madden, sociologist at the London School of Economics and its Cities Programme and co-author of the book “In Defence of Housing” (2016), and Sorcha Edwards, Secretary General of Housing Europe, the European Federation of Public, Co-operative and Social Housing. The conversation will be moderated by Lorenzo Vidal, researcher at CIDOB’s Global Cities Programme.
