Premiere of documentary Khamsa

On next Thursday 28th April, the documentary called “Khamsa” directed by Marc Almodóvar will be officially presented. This film is a collection of 5 stories, 5 short movies by 5 youngsters from southern Mediterranean cities. The documentary was developed within the framework of the SAHWA project, coordinated by CIDOB and funded by the European Commission Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).

Objective

On next Thursday 28th April, the documentary called “Khamsa” directed by Marc Almodóvar will be officially presented. This film is a collection of 5 stories, 5 short movies by 5 youngsters from southern Mediterranean cities. The documentary was developed within the framework of the SAHWA project, coordinated by CIDOB and funded by the European Commission Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).

Jordi Bacaria, director CIDOB, Moussa Bourekba Project Manager  as SAHWA’s  project, José Sánchez García (UdL) as Content Coordinator, and Marc Almodóvar, the director, will present the event. They will talk about the production, coordination and filming of the documentary.

Marc Almodóvar is a journalist and a documentalist. As a freelance journalist he was based in Egypt for more than five years. He published the book “Egipto tras la barricada” in 2014. Among its more than 10 documentaries there are “Erhal” (2011), “Eskandereya” (2010), “BCN Thematic Park” (2009) and “Más allá de la ficción” (2007).
