Objective

China is one of the five key regional powers which may affect in the way sources of tension unfold in relation to future scenarios in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The second in the STAP RP discussion series exploring perspectives from the region will take place in Shanghai, China in collaboration with the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. A closed-session Round Table Seminar will examine China’s perspectives on Afghanistan, Pakistan and on the other key regional powers’ interests in both countries.
