In the context of analysing bilateral relations between key regional powers, a closed-session Round Table Seminar will be held in collaboration with Qatar University, Doha, on Iran and Saudi Arabian perspectives on Afghanistan and Pakistan and how these play out, given the role of ideology, national and foreign policy aims and geo-strategic considerations in Iranian and Saudi Arabian strategic policy in the region. This will be the first in a series of discussion meetings in 2013 on perspectives from the region.
