Cristina Sala i Soler is Communications Assistant at CIDOB, in particular for the BRIDGES project, which assesses the impact and production of migration narratives in Europe. She holds a BA in Journalism by Universitat de València (UV) and a MA in International Relations by the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals (IBEI). She is currently pursuing a PhD at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), where she is also part-time lecturer in International Relations. She has previous experience in media and the private sector, as well as in other EU-funded projects: as Research and Communications Manager of the think tank network EuroMeSCo, led by the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed), and Research Assistant for the MENARA project, coordinated by CIDOB. Her areas of interest include the Middle East and North Africa, Euro-Mediterranean relations, and the role of religious transnational actors in world politics.
