[02.03.2010] El análisis anual de la AOD en España advierte que el recorte de la ayuda podría suponer una catástrofe para los países pobres. Los donantes rebajan ayuda en el momento en que los países en desarrollo comienzan a notar los efectos de la crisis.
[19.02.2010] Este año las prioridades del PACI se centran en afrontar el impacto de la crisis en los países en desarrollo. Las principales acciones se dirigen al desarrollo rural, agrícola y la seguridad alimentaria, así como a impulsar la lucha contra el cambio climático y la sostenibilidad medioambiental.

[15.09.09] According to the report, the wealthiest countries should act quickly to reduce CO2 emissions and foment alternative sources of energy to solve the problem of climate change. They should also provide financial and technical aid to the other countries so as to reduce emissions without stinting on development and the fight against poverty.
[30.10.09] The report highlights the fact that even before the outbreak of the food and economic crisis, the number of people suffering from hunger had been increasing slowly but continuously. The crisis aggravated the situation owing to the decrease in remittances, exports, investment and overseas aid, which affected revenue and labour.

Most countries have returned to growth in the final quarter of 2009, which will be positive during the course of 2010. The negative note is the great increase in deficit, owing to the massive injection of public funds to revive the economies.
[05.10.09] The report makes a comparative assessment of the evolution of the level of development of all the countries, placing special emphasis on education, health and income, as well as including other economic and social indicators. It also features a specific section which this year is comprised of an analysis of the impact of migrations on human development.
[25.06.09] The global economic crisis, which has also affected the continent of Africa, calls for a review of the current approaches of international development. According to the report, one important challenge for Africa is to strengthen regional integration, which would enable the countries to tackle the prolonged structural weakness of their economies.
[07.09.09] The report highlights the need for more effective regulation and supervision of the financial market’s activities so as to prevent a repetition of the current global financial and economic crisis. The report also claims that mitigating climate change does not contradict development objectives and offers other opportunities for structural change.
[17.09.09] The financial crisis and the acceleration of the economic downturn in developed countries had a negative effect on EDRs, between them and toward other countries, by altering their quota in global investments as a whole. This year’s special chapter analyses trans-national businesses, agricultural production and development.
[29.05.09] The international crisis has slowed the rate of economic growth in Africa, and in 2009 the GDP is expected to increase by 2%. The report also analyses the challenges to the development of the value chain in strategic sectors of agriculture, both at a national and a regional level, to facilitate domestic consumption and exports.
[06.03.09] Report on the cooperation provided by the DAC member countries of the OECD, which includes a qualitative assessment in addition to a large statistical section. It also includes analytical chapters on the fragmentation of aid, planning capacities and a comparison between donors.
[08.10.08] The report indicates that with a suitable business structure, the rural population could generate skills of economic, social and environmental strength that will lessen the impact of climate change. Furthermore, these efforts will help to provide a necessary stability and represent the first steps towards emerging from poverty.
