The library has a document collection specialising in international relations, development and, particularly, in the priority geographic and topic areas of the CIDOB Foundation.

Priority geographic areas

  • Latin America, the Mediterranean and the Arab world, sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, the former U.S.S.R. and Asia.

Specific priority topics

  • International policy and economics, co-operation and development, intercultural dynamics, migrations and international security.

The Library’s document collection is made up primarily of

  • Periodical publications: Currently it receives over 400 publications from all over the world in English, French, and Spanish, but also in Catalan, Italian, Portuguese and Galician. Some 600 additional titles, which are no longer received, complete the collection.
  • Monographs: Over 12,000 titles.
  • Other documents: Over 11,000 titles.

The publications put out by the CIDOB Foundation can also be found in the Library.

    Library hours
    Beginning on September 18, the Library will return to its normal hours, Mondays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
