Num. 14. Triangulación Asia-España-América Latina: una visión desde la empresa

Documentos CIDOB, Asia; 14

Based on a review of the fundamental theories of triangulation and their application to the sphere of business, this work has the objective of analysing one of the most innovative proposals for Spain’s foreign projection. From a strictly economic perspective, in the analysis of the role that this country could play as a vertex in the renovated trans-Pacific movement involved in the growing exchanges between Asia and Latin America, the authors highlight the opportunities that logistical and fiscal triangulation offer. Underscoring the links between cultural and business triangulation, due to the existence of multicultural human resources that are potential generators of alliances, the analysts point out the need to broaden the sectorial focus of business triangulation in the face of its potential in such areas as finance, telecommunications, automobile manufacturing and other activities.
