dCIDOB 97. Egipte, encaix en transició

An approach to a singular country in ancient and contemporary history which today is going through a situation of repositioning on the Arab and world scenes. In all spheres, Egypt finds itself in a stage of transition that should culminate in the recuperation of a voice of its own and a new fit in the above-mentioned scenes. In the words of one of the collaborators in this monograph, “it is not that Egypt has lost its potential for leadership, but rather its capacity for initiative to recover it”, a challenge which involves its Government in “putting the country solidly on the train of development”.
