Amberes, Belgium, Education: History of art, theatre (Universiteit Gent / Koninklijk Conservatorium) and Master's in Euro-Arab studies (Universitat de Girona). In 1995 she created the Intercultural Dynamics Programme at the CIDOB Foundation, which she has coordinated since then. The programme analyses intercultural dynamics through interdisciplinary, international reflection. Her areas of interest are: trans-cultural relations, the intercultural in discourses: stereotypes/prejudices, identifications and categorisations, intercultural reflections from areas outside the West, and tourism as an area of contact between cultures.
