[03.05.07] Over the past decade, migration policies have burst onto the European agenda, from the EU to its member countries. This publication has devoted an issue exclusively to this topic, in which it brings together the analyses of several examples that allow for comparative approach.
[08.04.08] In the author's opinion, the distinction between the internal and external management of migration flows has lost its validity. As a consequence, a more effective joint European Union policy on migration would require a more coordinated approach within the foreign policies and development policies of each of the Member States.

[15.10.07] This index assesses the policies aimed at the integration of immigrants in 25 EU member states and in three extra-community countries. More than 100 indicators were used in the creation of the index, which covers six main areas: access to the job market; family resettlement; long-term residence; access to nationality; antidiscrimination policies and political participation.
[25.06.07] Migration flows are continuing to grow, owing to family reunifications and the increase in the demand for labour in OECD countries. The report also stresses the need for policies to improve integration and to make better use of immigrants’ knowledge and skills.
