[06.02.08] Report on the cooperation that has been supplied by the DAC member countries of the OECD, in the form of a qualitative assessment that includes an exhaustive section of statistics. [27.11.07] The report assesses the evolution of the degree of development of all the countries, placing a particular emphasis on education, health and income, as well as including other social and economic indicators. [16.10.07] IED growth approached record levels from the year 2000, and the flows benefited most of the countries, even though this benefit was felt less in Oceania, South America and sub-Saharan Africa. This year's analysis is based on transnational companies, extraction industries and development.

[03.04.07] The African economies continue with a good rate of growth in their GDP, 5.7% for 2006. Increased exportations and high international prices for raw materials explain this good performance. Nevertheless, problems still persist, such as the lack of production diversification and deficiencies in infrastructures, transportation and energy.
[02.04.07] The total amount of co-operation supplied in 2006 by the member countries of the DAC of the OECD fell by 5.1% with respect to the previous year, in part because there were fewer debt relief operations. With regard to the objectives laid out in the Monterrey International Conference on Financing for Development in 2002, 16 of the 22 member countries have attained them.
