Catalunya Ràdio and the CIDOB Foundation to collaborate in the diffusion of content and training

This Wednesday afternoon, Oleguer Sarsanedas, the Director of the broadcasting company Catalunya Ràdio, and Josep Ribera, Director of the CIDOB Foundation, signed a collaboration agreement that will result in the training of reporters specialising in the area of international affairs, and of specialists working in the same sphere, in order to improve the efficiency of their radio coverage.

Through this agreement, Catalunya Ràdio reporters specialising in international news will be able to attend CIDOB events that are closed to the public, or to which access is restricted. The aim is for the reporters to broaden their knowledge in specific news reporting contexts.

Meanwhile, experts from CIDOB and their renowned guests will be featured on different programmes on Catalunya Informació, and the radio station will also promote the Foundation's activities.

Speaking at the event held for the signing of the agreement, Josep Ribera, Director of the CIDOB Foundation, stressed the agreement’s importance for the publicising of the Foundation's activities through the specialist medium Catalunya Informació, while Oleguer Sarsanedas, Director of the broadcasting company Catalunya Ràdio, highlighted the improvements that the contributions from the CIDOB experts will represent in terms of programme quality.
