Núm. 10. Dos Barcelonas para un mar: La transformación de la cooperación ambiental en el Mediterráneo.
The area of cooperation in the environmental protection of the Mediterranean is in the process of transformation. Put in simple terms, a convergence may take place (albeit not an amalgamation) between the two main frameworks in this area to date: the one promoted since 1975 by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and the environmental dimension of the Barcelona Process. This transformation, furthermore, has the potential to trigger changes in the objectives, mechanisms and networks of the major actors in the conservation of this area of the planet, and area that is at the same time ecologically vulnerable and damaged.
