Security Programme
The CIDOB Foundation Security Programme deals with the analysis of human security doctrine, reformation of the security sector, measures of confidence, and the monitoring of the European Security and Defence Policy and its implications in trans-Atlantic relations.
For this, its establishes constant collaboration with other Foundation Programmes, such as the Europe, Migrations and Latin America Programmes. Likewise, it maintains close relations with other study centres, such as the London School of Economics Centre for the Study of Global Governance, co-directed by Professor Mary Kaldor.
One of the key objectives of the Security Programme involves bringing together security and defence specialists and scholars in different working groups, which carry out projects on a regular basis.
