CIDOB

CIDOB

Originally created as the Centre for International Information and Documentation in Barcelona, its vocation is to be a framework of reference in the sphere of international studies and development studies in order to generate ideas and carry out activities that go together to consolidate a consciousness of belonging to a global community and to foster greater understanding of and among societies.

With this focus, the work of CIDOB is organised through several thematic and geographic programmes which are enriched through systematic contributions from the different social sectors (academia, politics, business, labour unions, etc.) and from different international partners.

CIDOB also aims to contribute to the international projection of Barcelona, Catalonia and Spain.
