The president
Narcís Serra, President of the CIDOB Foundation since the year 2000. Over the course of these years, he has promoted the creation of the Barcelona Institute of International Studies (IBEI), which was begun with the will to make Barcelona a centre of reference in this discipline.
Currently, his main areas of interest are foreign policy development, relations between the armed forces and society, and the mechanisms of global governance, especially in the field of security.
