2. Borders

2. Borders

With the aim of situating intercultural dynamics in a framework of reference capable of introducing new concepts for reflection, we propose the subject of borders. The border, as a metaphor, is that space of identification where the decision is made as to what is similar and what is different. Something that we have in common is our difference to others, and through a "shared border" we discover what we are and what we are not, and where "our" similarity is "theirs".
