Building a cohesive and inclusive society requires both public action and reflection. Local governments should find answers to address a challenge that increases the diversity and plurality in our societies, and the main purpose of this seminar is to provide a common framework for thinking about public policy on immigration and on models of citizenship.
The aim of this seminar, a joint-initiative of the Barcelona Provincial Council, ACSAR Foundation and CIDOB Foundation, is to open a forum of discussion on immigration policies and citizenship, in order to facilitate a permanent work on the challenges of citizenship in the era of globalization.
