Seminar
20 - 21 November 2008
The aim of this meeting is to bring together a group of top-level analysts and specialists in this particular field in order to debate the current party system in Latin America and its lack of institutionalisation or, in some cases, its process of decomposition. The two scenarios represent central aspects for the future of representative democracies in this area of the world owing to their foreseeable effect on the mechanisms of political representation and other elements of these countries' political systems.
