Seminar
13-14 November 2009
For the 5th consecutive year, the CIDOB, in collaboration with the Ibero-American General Secretariat and ECLAC, are organising the Ibero-American Development Agenda (ADI) seminar. This year, the ADI Seminar will be held in Barcelona on 13-14 November 2009, shortly before the 19th Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government opens in Estoril (Portugal).
Ever since its inception, this project has been linked with the Ibero-American Summits, thanks to the collaboration of the Ibero-American General Secretariat, which is responsible for presenting the seminar's conclusions to the Summit.
The 5th Ibero-American Development Agenda Summit will be focusing its attention on innovation and knowledge in Latin America. The event’s programme, after the customary annual presentation of a general view of the economic situation in Latin America, will analyse different aspects linked with promoting innovation and knowledge, while taking into account the characteristics of the region and how these can be used to foster economic growth, human development and social inclusion.
