A publication stemming from the Spanish-British meeting of experts on the Mediterranean and the Arab World. The analysis includes proposals for strengthening European research on this region. During the presentation, there will be interventions by Chris Hickey, Director of the British Council in Spain; Senén Florensa, Director of the European Institute of the Mediterranean; Josep Ribera, Director of the CIDOB Foundation; Emma Murphy, Senior Lecturer in Middle East Politics, Durham University; Miguel Larramendi, Permanent Lecturer in Arab and Islamic Studies, University of Castilla – La Mancha; and Iván Martín, Lecturer at Carlos III University in Madrid and co-ordinator of the publication.
