Presentation of the monograph, Oriente Medio en eclosión [The Emerging Middle East], including issue 35 of the journal Àmbits de Política i Societat, published by the Official Association of Holders of Doctoral and Bachelor’s Degrees in Political Science and Sociology of Catalonia. Lecture by Ignacio Álvarez – Osorio, Lecturer in Arab and Islamic Studies, University of Alicante and interventions by Eduard Soler, co-ordinator of the monograph and Head of the Mediterranean Programme of the CIDOB Foundation, Anna Parés, Dean of the Official Association of Holders of Doctoral and Bachelor’s Degrees in Political Science and Sociology of Catalonia, and Josep Ribera, Director of the CIDOB Foundation.
