Lecture
The CIDOB Foundation's Intercultural Dynamics Programme is to hold a lecture - within the framework of the Doctorate Students' Forum - in which Rafael Obregón, Professor at the School of Telecommunications at Ohio University (USA) will present the study Communication, development and social change.
This session, through a series of case studies based on processes of social change brought about by diverse communication strategies, will explore the theoretical, methodological and practical dimensions of communication for development through its inherently interdisciplinary nature. This reflection is based on theoretical reference points of communication, social change and complexity sciences, among others, with the aim of promoting greater dialogue between communication and other disciplines.
