The fifth edition of the yearbook, Keys to the World Economy, published by the Instituto Complutense de Estudios Internacionales (ICEI) and the Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade (ICEX), presents a deep analysis of the world economic situation, based on the study of factors such as the behaviour of financial markets, the situation of the oil market and international monetary volatility. It examines different aspects of the international situation, the process of internationalisation of Spanish companies, and the most dynamic economic areas of different regions. It also contains an important section of statistical data and principal economic and social indicators for each region and continent.
