The CIDOB Foundation is collaborating with Casa Asia to organise the East-West Dialogue, which will be held on 21 November from 11:00h onwards at Barcelona City Hall, and on 22 November from 11:00h onwards at the Casa Asia headquarters. Now in its fourth year, the East-West Dialogue is held to analyse the current challenges to human security, and is in line with the commitment with the Alliance of Civilisations. Within this framework, the CIDOB Foundation's Asia Programme will be holding a session on the nuclear issue, with the participation of William Perry (ex-Defense Secretary for the United States), Hitoshi Tanaka (ex-Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs for Japan), Shireen Mazari (Director of the Institute of Strategic Studies of Islamabad), Pere Vilanova (Professor of Political Science at the University of Barcelona) and Charles Powell (Deputy Director of Research at the Real Instituto Elcano).
