Published by the CIDOB Foundation, the book Indigenous peoples and policy in Latin America deals with a subject of current interest: the emergence of indigenous peoples in the political arenas of the countries in the region, and the resulting debate over the exercising of these peoples' specific rights. The volume focuses particularly on the situation in countries where significant mobilisation of this type has taken place: Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico and Nicaragua. The presentation will be attended by Salvador Martí y Puig, coordinator of the book, Esteban Ticona, Director of the Academia Diplomática of Bolivia, Anna Ayuso, Coordinator of the Latin America Programme at the CIDOB Foundation and Laura Giraudo, a researcher at the Centre for Political and Constitutional Studies.
